I'm home again. Very tired and slightly achy, but not feeling too dreadful. It was a wonderful relief to step off the plan last night and into the cool Vermont air.

Grandma is slowly adjusting to the idea of assisted living. My dad was still there when I left, and my uncle is going to be back in Spokane tomorrow. So there will be folks around to make sure that she takes care of herself properly while the assisted living application and move are handled (my uncle is thankfully handling all the paperwork and stuff).

So I'm shifting focus back to myself and school. One of my work study jobs is as a student ambassador, which means I get to help with Orientation next week. I was a good girl and requested quiet, non-physical assignments (like manning the registration table). So I think it will be ok. I need to get my books, and the new antibiotics, at some point this week. I will probably wait til later in the week to start the antibiotics. The doctor warned me that this particular combination of antibiotics works on the mental and emotional issues associated with Lyme (brain fog, depression, etc). So I should expect those issues to get worse before they get better. He is only putting me on a low dose of the two (whose names I cannot recall right now), and I'll be taking that dose once every other day at supper. I'm going to wait til later in the week because I am due to start my menses and do not need to add additional emotional fallout to the normal hormonal emotional fallout.

I might not be online much the next couple of weeks as I readjust to school life.

So glad the trip went well, and glad you are taking care of yourself. *gentle hug*

So very glad to hear that things are moving forward in regards to your Grandmother. I hope she settles in and is actually happier at the assisted living facility.

Yay for tackling the mental and emotional issues of the Lyme Disease, but huge boos for the added problems the antibiotics will cause. It would really be nice if, just once, you could get some sort of positive change without having to struggle through a seeming gigaton more of what usually deal with, and then some.

Best of luck with the orientation and getting settled into this semester's classes!

*hugs*
