Signal boost: Help someone get away from an abusive situation

This has come to my attention through several of my dwircle, including synecdochic and bookblather. ilyena_sylph is doing a hat pass to help her friend, killing_rose, out of a seriously abusive situation. Unfortunately to really help killing_rose, she has to get from Alaska to Missouri, where ilyena_sylph is. This sort of move is not cheap, particularly since it requires airfare for shipping and travel.

Done and done. I wish I could donate more, but if everyone who reads all of these posts only donates $1, it will still add up.

After having been in an abusive situation with literally no way out but suicide or to continue to exist under the abuse myself, I can't bear to think of someone else being in that same situation without some kind of help. Thank you for boosting the signal to let me know about it.

I wasn't able to donate much either, but as you said every little bit helps. If it hadn't been for friends helping me get out of a crazy situation and find my feet later, I would likely be dead by now. So I always try to pay it forward when I can.

Thanks for donating and boosting. Working together in little ways we can make a big difference. It's one of the reasons I love this community. People still believe in helping each other.
