Oh Happy Day!

Grades are all in and I got not one, but TWO As (well an A and an A-, cause law school is silly and uses a plus/minus system). My other grade was a B+. The B+ was in perhaps the hardest, most stressful class of the semester so I'm thrilled with that grade. In fact I'm thrilled with all my grades. Time for happy dancing. :)

Also? That video is just downright freaky. Christopher Walken reminds me of a gigantic praying mantis of the wrong gender in this. After all, it's the female of that species which devour their partner after mating... *shudders*

Never really thought of it that way...but can totally see why you would get that impression. Sorry to have given your brain bad images.

Thanks for the congratulations! It's a great feeling to have done so well after such a rough semester. It's also great fun to be able to share my glee with others. I don't talk about grades with other students at my school if I can help it, cause it just leads to madness and bad things.

No worries, there's no badness involved, just a little bit of the Wiggins associated with Christopher Walken and, particularly, him reminding me of a praying mantis.

Yes, you have every right to be damn proud and tickled downright pink about your accomplishment! But you're right not to discuss grades with other students, who may not have done nearly as well; it's very kind of you.

It's like the unmentioned first rule of law school: do not talk about grades. It's even more noticeable in law school that it was in undergrad. Probably because we are all overachievers and many of us are perfectionists (it is what will make us decent lawyers). So it's not so much a kindness, but an act of self-preservation. ;D
