I have a date! I signed up for a match.com account and actually followed through on someone's flirting!

This is a huge stride for me. I have normally shied away from this sort of thing. Recently though I've been making efforts to "come out of my shell" so to speak.

So far we've chatted online and via text. She's an artist with a day job working as a behavior aide in a high school. We're going for Mexican on Friday. It's all very exciting. :)

Thanks! I have a pretty good feeling about this one so far. I've chatted with her more in two days that I can recall ever chatting with others. We have a lot of interests and loves in common. Now it will be the harder finding-can we get our baggage to match/compliment each others. We've not scared either one of us of yet. Which is a good sign. I think if anything we've got the makings of good friends, and that is what a relationship should be built on in my opinion.
