Z is starting to relax and get more comfortable with us. She still startles very easily and is shy around people, but not animal aggressive or fearful of other dogs. The thundershirt helps her when her anxiety is really bad, and we've picked up some excellent books referenced fearfuldogs.com. We are slowly learning her triggers and body language. My sister has been doing a lot of clicker training with her and she is very trainable. She is s super sweetheart and loves to cuddle. Our very quiet home seems to be a good fit for her. I haven't been able to get a lot of good pics, but I thought I'd post some of the better ones I have gotten.

She loves to chew and we have been working hard to find things that are soft but durable.

She is a beautiful lady. And the grin on her face when she realized that all the tennis balls were for her. She piled them up and rolled in them. It was fabulous to see.

My Hannah only likes to chew on the soft, fluffy toys. We've tried to get her something more durable but she either doesn't touch it or has disemboweled it in a matter of minutes.

Z has not only disemboweled soft-fluffy things, she's ingested them. She's even managed to decimate softer rubber chews, and one tennis ball. She is a dedicated chewer, but so far sticks to things that are hers. We just make sure to keep her well in stock. And to quietly remove the things that are mostly destroyed.

I so wish we had gotten video of that. It was such a wonderful moment. We're glad to have found her too.
