New Year Gratitude List

I got this idea from a fabulous friend of mine. Rather than write up a list of things I want to do better in 2011 I will focus on the things that went well in 2010, the things that I am grateful for. For all the hardships and tough times, for all the things that I wish would have gone a little differently, there are things that went wonderfully and things that I am immensely thankful for.
I am grateful for:
-My family, both blood and chosen. They have been there when I needed them most and I can never fully express how thankful I am for their love and support.
-My friends, a diverse group of people met in many wonderful and fabulous ways. They make my life more interesting and provide support and comfort when needed.
-Great conversations. This relates to the first two as those people are usually who I end up having fun and interesting conversations with, conversations that span the range from purely silly and fun to challenging and mind-expanding.
-The ability to enjoy the beauty of this world.
-Creative outlets, they make stress relief fun and possible.
-Music and singing (goes with the above statement, but deserves its own line)
-My car, which has made life so much easier
-Living in Vermont, where I can get fresh milk and eggs, enjoying beautiful mountain scenery and be close to friends.
-The ability to move, to walk and dance and get chores done. Having fibromyalgia has made me doubly thankful for these things as it has driven home the point that these abilities can be taken away.
-Getting into my top choice for law school, and surviving my first semester.
