The fog is lifting
May. 12th, 2012 01:20 pmSo I'm done with finals (whew!) and after days of sleep and nothing much else the brain fog is starting to lift. So hopefully I'll get back to being a little more active on my blog and in my communities. :)
Apparently May is Lyme Awareness Month.
A surprising (to me at least, as it acknowledges Chronic Lyme Disease even though the CDC says they aren't sure it exists) article by Chuck Norris on Lyme Disease. It is part 1 of a 3 part series. The other parts have not been posted yet.
I had never really considered wearing t-shirts and other things about an illness I have, but I found a whole bunch that I love over at zazzle.

Date: 2012-05-12 08:39 pm (UTC)It's great to hear that the brain fog caused by all of the intensive studying is lifting. It must be like stepping out of very dense and tangled woods and underbrush into a bright, sunny clearing. I hope you have a wonderful summer and get the chance to go outside and enjoy some of the great warm weather (or hot, depending on where you live).
The weather here is not only Sprinklike, we're due to hit the high 70's today on the beach here in Washington, which is almost unheard of! I'm definitely going to take a break from completing my Mom's Mother's Day present to go and walk on the beach at sunset. I hope to get a few decent pics and will post them, if I get them.
*hugs*

Date: 2012-05-13 03:14 am (UTC)A walk on the beach sounds lovely. It was in the 70s today here as well with some lovely sunshine. A nice change from the cooler wet weather we've been having.
I have to be careful just how much sunshine I get right now because the antibiotic I'm on makes me sun sensitive. But I've gotten a lot of warm weather sun wear (long sleeve shirts with spf material that are designed for warmer weather, sun hats, a sun umbrella, lovely well ventilated clogs by Merrill) so hopefully I'll be able to enjoy some time outdoors. I've got a couple of trips planned this summer. One to DC to spend a week with a friend, which is very exciting as I've never been to DC. Another to Spokane to visit with family for a couple of weeks in August. I will be talking a couple of classes this summer, but the first one does start til July. I'm very much looking forward to the downtime in between. Coming out from the intense brain fog is very much like walking into a clearing after navigating very dense forest.
