The State of Me in Haiku

jjhunter posted a great little challenge/meme. Answer the question "how are you?" in haiku form. I decided to go with the answer as it would be right this moment. I thought I would share the results on my own blog as well, though mine ended up being a haikai instead of a haiku.

Content with many
things done but now gravity
weighs me down; throat aches.

Crosses fingers, may pollen
be the culprit not virus

or bacteria.
Too many things left to do;
too much to enjoy.

Early rest and fluids with
antihistamines may aid

with hope. A fresh day
will raise me up and free my
throat for singing joy.

Hopefully the throat issue is allergy related and not a virus or bacterial infection, which are the last things you need (especially Strep Throat). *sending positive, healing vibes your way*

Thank you! I'm feeling better today, so I think it is likely allergies. That is much easier to deal with than an infection. :)
