To post the icons in the post itself I used the image embed html tags.
I started by going to my icons page and finding the icons that were selected for me, then right clicking on the image and selecting copy image address.
Then in my post I clicked on "Insert image" and pasted the copied image address into the "Image from URL" line.
You can also do it by using the html tags <img src="paste the image address here" />.
