I haz new car - now need name ideas

Survived car shopping. Found car I really liked. They had a certified used 2014 Subaru Impreza Hatchback Sport Limited (meaning pretty much fully loaded gadget wise and with leather interior) for the same price as the less fancy brand new one. Carfax came back clean. Financing was not quite as low as I had hoped, but is within my range of affordability.

I am utterly wiped, and my brain weasels are huge and numerous. But underneath all that exhaustion and anxiety I'm happy. It's a very nice car and drives beautifully. Link to picture is below.




Anyone got ideas for names? I was thinking something dragonish (she feels like a little dragon), but I'm open to other ideas. Will try to get a picture of me with the car tomorrow. Am out of spoons today.

How about Kalessin, the eldest dragon from Ursula K. LeGuin's Earthsea books? Or perhaps Lien, from Temeraire?

No worries at all. As soon as I saw her I was all "look it's my little white dragon," which immediately made me think of the Pern books and Ruth as that was my favorite of the Pern books when I was young. Not sure if that's the right fit yet, so I'm exploring other options as well.

She's a beautiful car! Everyone I've known who has owned a Subaru has loved them, so I think you made a great choice there. And yay for the Certified, Pre-Owned, that means you likely got a bit of a warranty as well. :)

Name-wise, Asfaloth is the first thing that popped into my brain, even though it's not a dragon's name, Tolkien geek that I am. That said, I do love your idea of Ruth!

Thank you. Asfaloth is a very nice name. I realized she had to be Ruth because I kept thinking of her as my little white dragon. :D
